Considering study

I've been out of study for a while...
What's your most recent qualification? Take a look at the entry requirements of the course you're interested in to see if you have the required qualifications/skills. If you're still not sure, feel free to make contact and we'll put you in touch with a lecturer who can assess where you're at.

If you're starting from scratch, consider taking one of our Foundation Skills courses.

I need a change, where do I start?
What are your interests? What makes you happy? What do you enjoy? Asking these questions of yourself is a good place to start. Also consider visiting UCOL to talk to an enrolment advisor.

I have bills to pay, can I work while I study?
It depends on the qualification. Some programmes like Bachelor of Nursing require you to spend a large portion of your time on clinicial placement, so you don't have time to work. Other courses like Bachelor of Creative Media suggest that if you need to earn while you study, you work for up to 10 hours per week. So, we suggest that you get in touch to find out what your course requirements are, take a look at available scholarships and check out what support is available from StudyLink.

Do you have any online courses?
Yes, we have a growing suite of online qualifications in business, information and communications technology, and adult teaching.
