Hear from UCOL Head of School, Nurse Education (Palmerston North), Vicki-Lee Tyacke shed light on the learning journeys of Gen Z students.

You're warmly invited to attend UCOL's Power Hour of Research for November 2018.

Digital Literacy and Gen Z
In this session Vicki-Lee Tyacke will unpack the expectations and how we create authentic action plans for Gen Z students when our expectations are influenced by the myths being purported by researchers and the popular media. The presentation acknowledges the context of Gen Z students and the positioning of digital tools in their learning journeys.

Vicki-Lee Tyacke is UCOL's Head of School, Nurse Education (Palmerston North). A Manawatu Polytechnic Graduate of 1997, Vicki-Lee went on to become a true generalist nurse before finding her passion for education. Comprehensively registered, Vicki-Lee is able to work in any area of nursing, an opportunity she has made the most of over the years in Manawatū, Whanganui and Horowhenua.

Bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.
