Celebrating UCOL's 2019 Graduates

A highlight of the UCOL calendar is commemorating the achievements of our students at Graduation. Everyone who is involved in our students' study journey - from lecturers to whānau, gather together for what is a formal and enjoyable occasion.

2019 Graduation

In addition to the UCOL Graduation events in Palmerston North, Whanganui, Wairarapa and Horowhenua, we hold a ceremony in Taumarunui.

If you are a UCOL student who has completed a programme through one of our partner providers, such as Horowhenua Learning Centre, you are still able to graduate from a UCOL Ceremony.

Apply to graduate

If you are eligible to graduate (as a result of completing your programme at UCOL) you will be sent an email to help you apply. Once you have applied we will send you a graduation pack in January/February with everything you need to know about the Ceremony.

For all graduands, academic regalia is required. In Palmerston North this is available from Academic Dress Hire. A Korowai may be worn by Māori graduands over their gown.

Graduation booklet

Family and friends will be able to purchase their own copies of the Graduation booklet for a $2 gold coin donation an hour before each ceremony at the ceremony venue. Proceeds of the sale go to the student hardship fund. EFTPOS will be available.

Academic Records

Your academic record will be sent to you on completion of your programme. If you have any questions, contact Academic Records on (06) 952 7001 extn 70771, or email
