The New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 2 is suitable for people who have no formal qualifications and who need to improve their literacy and numeracy skills. It is designed for those seeking to achieve NCEA Level 2 and/or gain literacy and numeracy credits.
Application checklist
It will make the process easier if you prepare your National Student Number (NSN) before you
apply. If you don't have a NSN, you may
request one from NZQA, or you can supply a verified copy of your birth certificate, passport or Whakapapa statement. Note that you will need to provide any verified documents in person, via post or email.
